The Lister Petter TR2 engine is a reliable Air Cooled engine offering power between 11kw upto 19kw. Option to have the engine at fixed speed or variable speed between 1500-2500 rpm.
The Lister Petter TR2 Engine is a naturally aspirated air cooled engined producing power upto 19kw with speeds upto 2500 rpm variable or fixed. This twin cylinder engine allows for more versitility with its higher power output but still keeping it an affordable option in all market sectors.

Natural Cooling – The TR2 engines use air to cool. The flywheel fan pushes air over the deep crankcase fins allowing cooling to happen whenever the engine runs. No need for external cooling equipment.
Low Maintenance Costs – On standard models, fuel filters, air filters, oil filters are all common across our ranges so no need to hold multiple part numbers. T-Range engines are modular for each cylinder. Individual heads are used so only 1 head to replaced instead of the complete engine cylinder head or barrel. Again these are common across TR engines so minimising the need to hold different variations for spares.
Mechanical Governing – On all TR engines the governing is mechanical meaning no electrics to diagnose or replace. The simple governing ensures consistant performance of the engine.
Uptime – All lister Petter engines are built to be srong, rugged and reliable. This enables them to be run for many hours ensuring that your applications is never unavailable. TR engines have a 250 hour service interval as satndard.
The Lister Petter TR2 engines comes with the following items as standard:-
- Air cleaner

The Lister Petter TR engines also have a unique ability to allow a power take-off option from the gear case. This allows additional drive power to be used while the main application is driven from the flywheel coupling. Please enquire for more information on this option.
Power tables for the TR2 engine are shown below.
* For fixed speed engines the powers at these speeds are the same.
1. Power ratings (measured at the flywheel) and fuel consumptions, apply to a fully run-in, non-derated engine without power absorbing
accessories or transmission equipment.
2. The overload capability applies to a fully run-in engine. This is normally attained after a running period of about 50 hours.
